This contest is a very special one. Running and maintaining a village like ours takes a lot of behind-the-scenes work and more than a few bits. So, to raise funds before we need to renew our supergroup status, we’re hosting a paid contest.
Through your entry fee of 300 DA Points or equivalent cash ($3.5 USD), any villager may join in for some very fantastic prizes donated by talented villagers.

And this theme? “Historical Art of Equestria!”
Take a real-life masterpiece and ponyfiy it. All entries must be wholly from the artist (i.e.- no Photoshopping Derpy’s head on a picture of the Mona Lisa and calling it a day; actually redraw the Mona Lisa with Derpy’s face). When you pay your entry fee, tell us which piece you are going to ponyfy as to avoid duplicates. Once your work is completed, place a link to the group in the Deviation’s description and submit it to the folder ( fansmylittlepony.deviantart.co… ).

If you are going to pay you fee with points, just go to our donation place ( MLPF-donate ), click in 'Donate' and in 'Include a Message:' say which piece you are going to ponyfiy, so we can add to there.
